Kimberly Shea, PhD, RN, CHPN, is an associate clinical professor at the University of Arizona College of Nursing, assistant professor of practice at the University of Arizona College of Medicine – Phoenix and assistant director of telenursing for the Arizona Telemedicine Program. She has been a nurse for more than 25 years, including more than 15 years in hospice care. As a nationally funded nurse-scientist, she investigates technology-based delivery of health care in patients’ homes. She holds four degrees from the University of Arizona and is nationally certified as a hospice and palliative care nurse.
