The University of Arizona College of Medicine – Phoenix will offer two new Bioethics programs: a Master of Arts in Bioethics and a Graduate Certificate in Bioethics. Applications are being acceped for the inaugural class in fall 2023.

Our Bioethics programs aim to give clinicians, social workers, chaplaincy, nurses and lay individuals who wish to seek out Bioethics education the background and training to engage in the teaching of ethics, ethics research, ethics consultations and difficult bedside ethical issues. Students with advanced education in bioethics help better prepare tomorrow's health care professionals by reinforcing the "human side" of medicine and the patient's perspective.
