Are you interested in joining a WAG?A WAG, or Writing Accountability Group, is an active writing group that meets once a week over a 10-week block. Each group follows a strict agenda of 15 minutes of updates and goal setting, followed by 30 minutes of individual writing, and then 15 minutes of reporting and wrap up. A WAG is limited to four to eight members, and you MUST commit to attending at least eight of the 10 weekly sessions.
In a WAG, there is no peer review of your writing. WAGs are focused on the process, not the content, of writing. The goal is to write with increased frequency and for shorter durations, developing a sustainable habit of writing. More information is available here.
Are you interested in joining a WAG? Click the link below by Monday, August 17, at noon to complete a survey of your availability. The groups will begin the week of August 31 and continue for 10 weeks. The Office of Faculty Affairs will create groups based on these results and let you know the Zoom information for each WAG.
