May is Skin Cancer Awareness Month

Most skin cancer is preventable with sun safe behaviors and is detectable if found early. Sharing facts about the dangers of unprotected sun exposure and encouraging individuals to check their skin for warning signs of skin cancer can save lives.

Don't Fry Day is Friday, May 28 (the Friday before Memorial day). The aim of this day is to reduce skin cancer rates caused by over-exposure to ultraviolet radiation (UVR) from the sun and tanning beds.
