The UArizona Health Sciences Strategic Initiative 3.3: Next Generation Model of Healthy Aging announces the availability of awards up to $25,000 each for pilot projects on research topics focused on aging. The deadline to apply is Monday, April 19, at 5 p.m.
Proposals that foster collaborative efforts between faculty in the health sciences and other disciplines on other UArizona campuses, especially those that involve integration of science and cross-disciplinary work, are particularly encouraged.
Early-career faculty (including research faculty), clinical faculty or established faculty who have not previously performed research in aging, but are interested in broadening their research to include this area, are also invited to apply.
Both projects that provide for inter-collegiate, multi-disciplinary interactions with multiple investigators and investigator-initiated projects will be considered.
Application information and information concerning budgetary issues can be obtained from Annisa Westcott by email at firstname.lastname@example.org, or by phone 520-626-8447.
Research-related questions should be addressed to Kathleen Insel, PhD, RN, by email at email@example.com or by phone at 520-626-6220.
The proposals will be reviewed by a panel of relevant experts. Funding decisions will be made by May 11, 2021. The funding period will be June 1, 2021 to May 31, 2022.
