The Hand Laboratory is looking for pregnant women to participate in a hand/wrist research project.
Many individuals experience carpal tunnel syndrome during their pregnancy. We are conducting this research to better understand the physical changes of the wrist during pregnancy that can lead to carpal tunnel syndrome.
Participants will make one visit to the Hand Laboratory for ultrasound imaging of the wrist and complete a short questionnaire. The visit will take up to 1 hour. Participants will be paid $15+ for their visit.
The study is open to anyone who is currently pregnant. You do not need to be experiencing carpal tunnel syndrome to participate.
Email email@example.com or call 520-626-4916 to participate.
An Institutional Review Board responsible for human subjects research at the University of Arizona reviewed this research project and approved the study.
