Speak Your Science at Biosciences Toastmasters

Build your verbal communication skills in a supportive environment!

  • Do you wish you could explain your science to a general audience?
  • Do you want to polish your presentation skills?
  • Do you suffer from a fear of public speaking?
  • Do you want to become more fluid in presenting your results or participating in meetings on Zoom?

Learn to speak your science by joining a friendly group of scientists, professionals, students, and community members to build your verbal communication skills and network for your career. We offer a supportive, self-paced atmosphere and an opportunity to practice speaking to a group and receive constructive feedback. The club is open to everyone, including the University of Arizona campus and Tucson community -- especially scientists and science-lovers.

We meet on Fridays from 1-2 p.m. on Zoom.

For Zoom link, please contact Susan Miller at sjmiller@email.arizona.edu, or contact us via the form on our website at https://biosciences.toastmastersclubs.org/
