Connect2STEM Live TV – Lineup for Saturday, Feb. 13

Kids and families are invited to join the the UArizona College of Medicine – Phoenix, in partnership with Cox Communications and the Arizona SciTech Institute, for the Connect2STEM series; featuring live, virtual events that showcase the wonders of science, technology, engineering, math and medicine (STEM).

Every Saturday in February, faculty, staff and students from the University of Arizona Health Sciences colleges, including the College of Nursing, the College of Pharmacy, and the Mel and Enid Zuckerman College of Public Health in Phoenix and Tucson, will host dynamic live sessions encouraging youth of all ages to discover STEM careers.

Connect2STEM TV Lineup on Saturday, Feb. 13:

10-10:30 a.m. “Wonders of the Heart: Hear the Beat,” for grades K-6  Hosts: UArizona College of Pharmacy

10:45-11:30 a.m. “Makerspace Magice and Drones to the Rescue,” for all grades  Host: "Dr. J." director, STEAM & Makerspace programs, along with members of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Scottsdale    

11:30-noon “Medical Technology: Discover AI and Virtual Reality,” for grades 6-12  Host: Lucas Grijalva, Simulation Operations Specialist for Arizona Simulation, Technology and Education Center
