"Vaccine Distribution in Long-Term Care: Is it Working?"

Join this unique event, sponsered by the James E. Rogers College of Law and the University of Arizona Health Sciences Faculty Commons + Advisory.

The event features UArizona experts from the College of Law and across the UArizona Health Sciences. The discussion will be moderated by Tara Sklar, professor of Health Law and director of the Health Law and Policy Program at Arizona Law. Professor Sklar will provide the latest data on COVID-19 cases and deaths in long-term care facilities, among both residents and staff and highlight variations in vaccination rates across the states. A panel discussion on COVID-19 vaccination efforts will follow offering a range of perspectives from the health science colleges, on barriers to the rollout and how to effectively and equitably address them.
