The Gold Humanism Honor Society Solidarity Week planning committee and the Office of Equity, Diversity and Inclusion at the College of Medicine – Phoenix will host a virtual discussion on Feb. 18 at 6 p.m., about structural racism and its impact on medicine. Physicians and medical students will share their experiences about instances of racism they've experienced in the medical field. 

The panel will be moderated by Ricardo Correa, MD. The discussion will include information about structural racism in the medical field and how medical professionals can support their colleagues if they witness or hear about racism in the workplace.
