Faculty, staff, students and the community are invited to join Wellness Wednesdays: A Community Connection, a lunchtime event to promote nutritious foods, healthy minds and strong bodies.
These free, 30-minute interactive webinars, hosted by experts including University of Arizona Health Sciences faculty, staff and students, will provide thoughtful guidance, information and tools to help support individuals while navigating through a new reality during these challenging times.
Wellness Wednesdays: A Community Connection is the latest initiative from the University of Arizona Health Sciences with the goal of creating a healthier community by helping individuals and families stay well.
Registration is required for all events. Upon registration, a confirmation email with login information and instructions will be sent.
Join an upcoming session on Wednesday, March 17, 2021, "Staying Sun Safe and Skin Cancer Free," featuring Lisa Quale, health educator, senior, at the UArizona Skin Cancer. Join a webinar to learn about sun-safe behaviors and how to detect skin cancer.

Lisa began her career with the Cancer Center in 2002, overseeing the Familial Melanoma research project. She became the health educator for the Skin Cancer Institute when it was established in 2005. Since then, she has educated patients at high risk for skin cancer in the Skin Cancer Multidisciplinary Clinics at the University of Arizona Cancer Center, overseen all educational materials, and aided in the development of educational brochures, videos and website information on skin cancer prevention and detection.
