Funding for Your Telehealth Initiatives: Current and Upcoming Grant Programs

This webinar will explore funding programs that can be used to support your organization’s telehealth efforts, improve broadband connectivity and adoption in your community, and help bridge the digital divide. Programs discussed will include:

  • USDA Rural Utilities Service Distance Learning and Telemedicine Grant Program
  • USDA ReConnect Loan and Grant Program
  • NTIA Tribal Broadband Connectivity Program
  • State broadband programs

Grant Experts and Resources for Telehealth will be shared plus this free webinar will offer you the opportunity to address your questions about grant opportunities as well as introduce you to potential grant partners. Our goals and objectives are to share resources and help you in writing an award-winning telehealth grant!

Arizona Telemedicine Program & Southwest Telehealth Resource Center

Major is the associate director for Innovation & Digital Health for the Arizona Telemedicine Program (ATP) and the Southwest Telehealth Resource Center (SWTRC). Her role includes the planning, development and installation of the teleconferencing and telemedicine technology used for providing telemedicine services in a wide variety of locations. She provides training for all levels of health-care professionals in the effective use of videoconferencing for clinical and educational applications used for live interactive and store-and-forward applications. She has served as a leader for several statewide and national organizations with an emphasis on those that promote and support recruiting, training and preparing the health-care workforce of the future. She is the past chair for the mHealth, Technology & Distance Learning Special Interest Group of the American Telemedicine Association and continues to serve as a leader in the telemedicine technology community.

Director of Broadband Programs
Learn Design Apply, Inc.

Beresford is the director of broadband programs at Learn Design Apply. Megan spearheads LDA's broadband work, developing partnerships with public and private entities to help close the digital divide. She leads a team that aims to connect communities with broadband funding and promote digital equity. Previously, she worked in Washington, DC, assisting state and federal officials in addressing pressing issues ranging from emergency preparedness to health-care inequities. Beresford is an avid-reader and whiskey enthusiast.

Regional Grant Manager
Learn Design Apply, Inc.

Fine joined the Learn Design Apply team in 2020. She focuses on distance learning, telehealth and collaboration funding for the West territory (AK, AZ, CA, HI, ID, MT, NV, NM, OR, UT and WA). Prior to Learn Design Apply, Victoria worked in client and project management at a number of technology startups in the Los Angeles area. She holds a bachelor's degree with honors in psychology from the University of Chicago.
