Implementation of Pediatric Behavioral Health Services through Telemedicine: One Year Anniversary Lessons Learned
PM Pediatric Care implemented behavioral health services for kids/teens/young adults one year ago and has since had 1000 visits. Learn from our successes and challenges how to effectively provide behavioral health services via telemedicine.
Learning objectives:
- Identify the advantages and disadvantages of using telemedicine for behavioral health
- Learn strategies to manage behavioral health crisis through telemedicine
- Identify methods to assess patient success and program success

Kelly Cleary, MD, is the medical director for behavioral health for PM Pediatric Care, where she is responsible for the oversight of the medication management and medical operations of patients within their behavioral health services. Dr. Cleary works with the clinical integration team to continue to expand PM Pediatrics’ footprint in behavioral health. Prior to joining the team at PM Pediatrics, Dr. Cleary co-founded UrgiKids, a pediatric urgent care in Naperville, Illinois, which was subsequently acquired by PM Pediatrics. Dr. Cleary attended Albert Einstein College of Medicine and completed her Pediatric Emergency Medicine fellowship at NYU-Bellevue. She is currently pursuing her Master’s in Public Health with a focus in mental health at Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health.

Jennifer Weber, PsyD, is the director of behavioral health for PM Pediatric Care's innovative Teletherapy Program. A child and adolescent psychologist specializing in trauma, identity-development, mood disorders, anxiety, ADHD and adjustment disorders, Dr. Weber also provides therapy to the children, adolescents and emerging adults PM Pediatric Care's new program serves. After completing her undergraduate degree in Psychology and American Studies at Brandeis University, Dr. Weber focused her studies on human development and the trajectory of mental illness as well as on the development and implementation of successful interventions. She received her MEd in Human Development and Psychology from Harvard Graduate School of Education and her MS in Society, Human Development, and Health from Harvard School of Public Health.
