Building a Future Through Honoring the Past

This presentation will honor the people who have influenced my personal and professional journey, as well as explore the experiences that have shaped my passion for service and contributing to the future of health professions and higher education.

Andre Dickerson is an experienced leader with more than 10 years of progressive success in the fields of higher education, community health, social service and non-profit administration. Andre is a first-generation college graduate with a bachelor’s degree in biology from Central Washington University, a master’s degree in Medical Sciences from Heritage University, and a master's of business administration degree from Ohio University. He is currently pursuing his doctor of philosophy in higher education from Azusa Pacific University. He possesses professional competencies and achievements in the areas of student development and retention; diversity, equity, and inclusion; strategic planning; budget and fiscal management; program evaluation and assessment and organizational leadership. His Clifton strengths are Achiever, Strategic, Focus, Futuristic and Maximizer.
