12:00 pm to 1:00 pm

The practice and delivery of health care is changing with an emphasis on improving quality, safety, efficiency and access to care. Telemedicine can help you achieve these goals! The Arizona Telemedicine Program and Southwest Telehealth Resource Center invite you to a free one-hour webinar on the implementation and practice of telemedicine.

What Is the Better Venue for HIV Outpatient Care: A Brick-And-Mortar Clinic or Telemedicine Clinic?

Join us to hear about data from a recent study conducted on patient outcomes for HIV care. The study examined outpatient care for HIV patients in both a brick-and-mortar clinic and a telemedicine clinic and which provided better patient outcomes.

The topics for this webinar are:

  • Learn about a recent study on the efficacy of telemedicine for chronic HIV
  • Understand the clinic personnel and structural features of a telemedicine clinic
  • Identify differences in medical, economic and time-management outcomes comparing both venues
