Dr. Parthasrathy is the 2022 College of Medicine – Tucson Founders Day Honoree and is a nationally recognized expert in sleep medicine, conducting important research on sleep, breathing and inflammation.

David Julius, PhD
Professor and Chair, Department of Physiology
University of California at San Francisco

Dr. Julius is the 2021 Nobel Prize laureate in Physiology or Medicine known for his work on molecular mechanisms of the sensation of pain and heat, including the characterization of the TRPV1 and TRPM8 receptors that detect capsaicin, menthol and temperature.

Holly Ingraham, PhD
Professor, Department of Cellular and Molecular Pharmacology
University of California at San Francisco

Dr. Ingraham studies women's health, in particular, sex-dependent central regulation of female metabolism and physiology.
