College of Medicine – Tucson Research Day
A day-long symposium to connect researchers and provide opportunities to share research in fresh formats.

Dr. Parthasrathy is the 2022 College of Medicine – Tucson Founders Day Honoree and is a nationally recognized expert in sleep medicine, conducting important research on sleep, breathing and inflammation.

Dr. Julius is the 2021 Nobel Prize laureate in Physiology or Medicine known for his work on molecular mechanisms of the sensation of pain and heat, including the characterization of the TRPV1 and TRPM8 receptors that detect capsaicin, menthol and temperature.

Dr. Ingraham studies women's health, in particular, sex-dependent central regulation of female metabolism and physiology.
