
Dr. Teodorescu, MD, MS, is a professor in the Division of Allergy, Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine and in The Wisconsin Sleep and Consciousness Center (WISC), at the University of Wisconsin—Madison. She also serves as the director of the James B. Skatrud Pulmonary/ Sleep Research Laboratory at the William S. Middleton Memorial VA Hospital, Madison. Dr. Teodorescu’s research has been focused on the reciprocal interaction of obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) with chronic lung disease (asthma, COPD, pulmonary fibrosis). Her ongoing studies test mechanisms underlying these bidirectional links, in human and rodent models and response to current standard treatments. She has presented at and chaired multiple scientific symposia, discussion groups and poster sessions at international meetings.
