Join us for a "Humanism in Medicine" talk with Alok Patel, MD. We are honored to have him sharing his insights on humanism in medicine. The talk will be followed by lunch and time to connect with your fellow medical colleagues and Dr. Patel.
Presenter Details
Alok Patel, MD, is a board-certified pediatrician and a clinical associate professor of pediatrics at Stanford Medicine, where he practices as a pediatric hospitalist at Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital and serves as the faculty director of communications for the Department of Pediatrics. Dr. Patel is a distinguished alumnus of the University of Arizona College of Medicine – Tucson and a proud member of the Gold Humanism Honor Society, an honor that celebrates physicians who exemplify compassion, integrity and excellence in patient-centered care. Beyond his clinical work, Dr. Patel is a nationally recognized medical journalist, producer and on-camera expert who brings critical public health issues to life through broadcast media, podcasts and innovative science communication.
