The University of Arizona Andrew Weil Center for Integrative Medicine is proud to announce that James "Jim" Lloyd Kimbrough, the center's business development lead, has been named the 2026-27 board treasurer for the Academic Consortium for Integrative Medicine & Health.
The consortium, which was founded in 1999, brings together more than 80 of the world's leading academic medical centers and health systems committed to advancing the principles and practices of integrative medicine. Member institutions collaborate on research, education and policy, with the shared goal of making whole-person, evidence-based care a standard part of academic medicine. As treasurer, Kimbrough will help guide the consortium's financial strategy and governance as it continues to expand its global network of integrative health champions.
Kimbrough joins three fellow board officers representing Harvard University, the University of Washington and Northwestern University, underscoring the caliber of institutions shaping the consortium's leadership this year.
The appointment reflects the Andrew Weil Center's continued leadership role within the national integrative medicine community and its ongoing commitment to advancing whole-person health through education, research and clinical care.
