Wildcats Roar Against Sexual Violence 5K Run/Walk/Roll

April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month. The annual Wildcats Roar Against Sexual Violence 5K Run/Walk/Roll and Resource Fair is aimed at raising awareness, supporting survivors and fostering community awareness against sexual violence. Proceeds from the 5K registration benefit Campus Health Survivor Support Services, helping expand safe spaces, resources and programming for survivors.
- Participate in the inclusive 5K Run/Walk/Roll as an individual or as part of a team. A team discount is available.
- Explore the resource fair sponsored by Take Back the Night featuring local organizations that support survivors.
- Hear from community and survivor voices.
- Conclude the evening with a candlelight vigil in solidarity.
The Resource Fair opens at 4:30 p.m. The 5K starts at 6:15 p.m.
This annual initiative is hosted by the Office of Public Safety, Survivor Support Services, Take Back the Night Tucson and the Southern Arizona Center Against Sexual Assault to unite students, staff, faculty and Tucson residents in promoting support, awareness, empowerment and healing.
