Diversity in Cancer Research Undergraduate Internship accepting applications for summer 2025

The American Cancer Society's Diversity in Cancer Research, or DICR, Undergraduate Internship is now recruiting for summer 2025. The DICR internship is an immersive paid 10-week research opportunity through the University of Arizona Cancer Center.
Accepted students will be matched with an established researcher at the Cancer Center to complete a research project during the program. Students will be a part of a unique cohort of students interested in pursuing a masters or doctorate degree in the health sciences and provided with professional development classes, conference experiences and social events.
Eligibility:
- Member of a group underrepresented in the cancer workforce as defined here.
- Current undergraduate or student planning to transfer from a community college.
- Motivation to pursue a doctoral degree and a career in the health sciences.
