Child Deaths in Arizona Increased Significantly During Pandemic Year

Arizona has the second highest number of childhood deaths due to COVID-19, second only to Texas in 2020, said Sean Elliott, MD, a professor emeritus at the College of Medicine – Tucson who specializes in pediatric infectious diseases.
