2024 Indigenous Data Sovereignty and Governance Summit

The U.S. Indigenous Data Sovereignty Network is gearing up for their 2024 IDSov + IDGov Summit in April 2024 on the homelands of the Pascua Yaqui Nation and they want to hear from you!

The organization recently issued a call for proposals for the event and are looking for efforts, case studies, frameworks, etc. relevant to Indigenous Peoples in the U.S. and associated territories (inclusive of Hawai’i, Guam, Puerto Rico, Northern Mariana Islands, American Samoa and U.S. Virgin Islands) to share with attendees.

Event organizers are looking for tribal and Indigenous leaders, Indigenous community programs, Indigenous data-focused scholars, policy experts and other data actors and practitioners to submit proposals for presentations, workshops and other events to hold during the 2024 Summit.

If you are interested in presenting at the first major IDSov event in Tucson, as well as the first USIDSN event in the U.S. since 2019, please submit your proposal by Oct. 15, 2023.

You are welcome and encouraged to reach out to event's project manager Andrew Martinez (andrewmartinez@arizona.edu) with any questions, concerns, comments or anything else you might need.
