School of Health Professions transition and website launch
Mel and Enid Zuckerman College of Public Health
As of July 1, 2025, the College of Health Sciences has transitioned to become the School of Health Professions within the Mel and Enid Zuckerman College of Public Health. The website has been restructured under the College of Public Health’s subdomain, with the previous site, chs.arizona.edu, now redirecting to https://healthprofessions.publichealth.arizona.edu/.
With a focus on health professions, health science design and translational science, the School of Health Professions offers four graduate-level degree programs: Physician Assistant, Doctor of Physical Therapy, Genetic Counseling and Clinical Translational Sciences, as well as a variety of courses in the Health Science Design center that includes transdisciplinary education for both graduate and undergraduate students. These programs were previously part of the College of Health Sciences, established in 2023, before transitioning to the Mel and Enid Zuckerman College of Public Health. The new website showcases these programs and highlights workforce expansion initiatives developed to meet accreditation standards.
