Ketamine Eases Parkinson's Patients' Levodopa-induced Dyskinesia

Treatment with the low-dose painkiller ketamine eased uncontrollable body movements in patients with Parkinson’s disease, according to results from a Phase 2 study sponsored by PharmaTher. Scott Sherman, MD, PhD, director of the Movement Disorders Center and an associate professor of neurology at the College of Medicine – Tucson was the study's principal investigator.
