It’s a Match! Celebrations at College of Medicine – Phoenix
Pristine Mei and Brandon Ngo, announced that they were couple-matched to University of California-Davis during the UArizona College of Medicine – Phoenix Match Day 2022 event.
For the first time since 2019, the College of Medicine – Phoenix students held in-person Match Day celebrations with family and friends, which felt extra joyous after two years of pandemic-required physical distancing.
The day is the culmination of four years of study, research and rotations and occurs on the third Friday in March nationwide.
From dancing faculty and staff to balloons, confetti cannons and bouquets of flowers, students, family and friends celebrated the moment to mark the start of their medical careers.
While the majority of the soon-to-be residents will remain in Arizona, matches were made to hospital systems all over the country.
