Connect2STEM Draws Families for Fun Day of Learning - Jan. 25, 2020

On Jan. 25 the University of Arizona College of Medicine - Phoenix hosted its 6th annual Connect2STEM event. The event brings kids and families onto campus to get hands on with science, technology, engineering, math and medicine. Volunteers, faculty and staff were on-hand from the College of Medicine – Phoenix, Banner Health, the College of Pharmacy, the Mel and Enid Zuckerman College of Public Health, The University of Arizona Cancer Center, The College of Nursing and more. This year’s event invited kids to dissect cow eyeballs and pig hearts, watch brain surgery in virtual reality, play with robotics, and step inside a field hospital.
