Flexible permit options for University of Arizona employees
Parking and Transportation Services
Parking and Transportation Services offers several new flexible parking permit options for University of Arizona employees who wish to park at the Tucson campus or Phoenix Bioscience Core campus two or three days per week.
These new options were created by PTS as an outcome of the Flexible Work Initiative, in collaboration with University Initiatives & Policy and Human Resources, and with input from Staff Council.
About the new flexible permits
- Several flexible permit options are available for the Tucson campus and Phoenix Bioscience Core campus. Options are explained below.
- Permit holders can park in specific parking locations listed below, depending on availability.
- In/out privileges are allowed within a single day, from midnight to 11:59 p.m. with a single charge for one day (a day refreshes every 24 hours at 11:59 p.m.).
- Permits are valid for a full academic year, from August to August, and must be renewed annually. There is an annual usage limit (total number of days) allowed for the permit duration, depending on the option chosen.
- Permits can be used for accessible spaces; a valid placard or disabled license plate is required.
Please note: flexible permits are not valid for special event parking and cannot be combined with other annual or academic parking permits.
