Services
Our office supports submission preparation for grants and other research activities including:
- Review of grant application announcements for requirements and applicability.
- Budget development and drafting budget justifications.
- Communication with prime or subaward institutions.
- Preparing the grant application.
- Assisting with administrative sections of grants including letters of support, biosketches, facilities, resources and more.
- Routing and securing institutional approval, endorsements, and signatures.
- Submission of the grant to external sponsor and communication with sponsors.
Planning Your Submission
Pre-award services works directly with Sponsored Projects Services to facilitate all applications for extramural funding. To ensure that we have enough time to develop competitive and compliant applications, please notify us of your intent to submit to an opportunity a minimum of 30 days prior to the sponsor’s deadline by emailing preaward@arizona.edu with the following information:
- Funding opportunity announcement (website and/or PDF)
- Deadline by which you wish to apply
