The University of Arizona College of Nursing honored its summer 2022 graduating class at Centennial Hall on Aug. 11. A total of 190 Wildcat nurses celebrated the successful conclusion to their programs in front of family, friends and faculty. 

“It has been our pleasure and honor to guide each of you to this point in your career that we celebrate today,” interim Dean Kathleen C. Insel, PhD, RN, said to the graduating class. “A door just opened for you. Walk through it with pride at what you have accomplished and be confident in your future. Go out and enjoy the journey. Have fun, take care of yourself and each other, share your compassion with your patients, let them know how much you care and do great in your new life as a Wildcat nursing graduate.”

The event honored graduates in the following degree programs: 49 in Bachelor of Science in Nursing Integrative Health Pathway, 11 in Master of Science in Nursing Clinical Systems Leadership (RN to MSN), 118 in Master of Science in Nursing Entry to the Profession graduates, nine in Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP), two in Doctor of Philosophy in Nursing and one in Doctor of Philosophy in Nursing-Doctor of Nursing Practice.
