College of Nursing Celebrates Expansion of Gilbert Facility

The University of Arizona College of Nursing celebrated an expansion and renovation of its facilities in Gilbert, Arizona, on Nov. 2 with a ribbon-cutting ceremony and tour.

The fourth-floor expansion accommodates the college’s Master of Science in Nursing – Entry to the Profession program, which was previously based at the Phoenix Bioscience Core in downtown Phoenix. The college’s Bachelor of Science in Nursing integrative health pathway has occupied the third floor of the University Building in downtown Gilbert since 2019. The third floor is equipped with a newly renovated eight-bed skills lab and a nursing simulation suite designed to replicate a hospital patient-care setting.

Gilbert Mayor Brigette Peterson oversaw the event as the master of ceremonies. Remarks from University of Arizona President Robert C.
