At the annual A Pathway to Success career fair, students from Tucson-area high schools learn about job options in the medical field. Medical students, residents and faculty from the University of Arizona College of Medicine – Tucson host the event, which includes presentations and tables staffed by physicians, paramedics, pharmacists, dietitians, medical assistants and others. The event was held Feb. 12, 2020, at Banner – University Medical Center South as a way to encourage teens, particularly from underserved communities, to pursue careers in medicine and learn about the myriad job options in health professions.
