The University of Arizona College of Health Sciences celebrated the successful completion of degree programs for 12 students in two ceremonies in Phoenix and Tucson. The graduates were from the college’s Clinical Translational Sciences and Genetic Counseling graduate programs. Two graduates took part in the University of Arizona College of Medicine – Phoenix convocation and 10 graduates participated in the Graduate Interdisciplinary Programs and Biomedical Sciences convocation in Tucson.

“We are proud of the graduates from our Clinical Translational Sciences and Genetic Counseling graduate programs and wish them the best as they enter the workforce,” said Kevin C. Lohenry, PhD, PA-C, the interim dean of the College of Health Sciences. “These professionals will be contributing to improving our knowledge in translational research as well as the outcomes of genetic testing and education for the patients in our state.”

The College of Health Sciences will be integrated into the Mel and Enid Zuckerman College of Public Health as a new School of Health Professions and Global Medicine beginning July 1.
