As we kick off the Spring 2025 semester, I’d like to share with you a wonderful look back at last year: the U of A Health Sciences Impact Annual Report 2024.
The stories in the annual report illustrate our continued commitment to excellence in educating tomorrow’s health professionals, expanding research to investigate and solve critical health care problems, and providing compassionate and culturally sensitive care to build healthier communities.
The work being done at the University of Arizona Health Sciences through our strategic priorities and our 12 centers is aligned across five themes: Next-Generation Education; Precision Health Care for All; Improving Health and Well-Being; Creating Defenses Against Disease; and New Frontiers for Better Health. Through them, we are building on our existing strengths and providing a roadmap to a healthier future for everyone in Arizona and beyond.
The annual report shines a spotlight on the six colleges within the U of A Health Sciences with personal video messages from each of the deans. Be sure to watch and listen as they discuss their visions and plans for the colleges they oversee.
And don’t miss the news stories, faculty profiles and features that take a closer look at the people and programs in each college.
I am in awe of what we can accomplish, individually and collectively, in the span of a year. It is apparent to me that Health Sciences’ faculty, staff and students are deeply engaged in our common goal of improving health care and making healthier tomorrows. I hope you will find the stories and accomplishments in the Health Sciences Impact Annual Report 2024 as inspiring as I did as we look ahead to 2025 and beyond.
