Please join Judy Subaitis, MEd, in exploring compassionate and effective strategies for supporting and connecting with individuals on the autism spectrum. Through practical, real-world examples, we will learn how to build trust, improve communication, and create supportive environments.

Judy Subaitis, MEd

After spending 20 years working around the U.S. and abroad as an exotic animal trainer, Judy Subaitis, MEd, made a transformative career shift to education, bringing a unique perspective to the classroom. With years of experience working with animals, Subaitis mastered the art of behavior modification, communication, and building trust, skills that have seamlessly translated into her new role as an educator.

She is now a dedicated school principal with extensive experience leading Banner Academy, a private school that specialize in supporting students with autism and other disabilities. With a deep passion for fostering inclusive educational environments, Subaitis has spent over 20 years working closely with students, families, and educators to create tailored educational experiences that help each child reach their fullest potential. Drawing on years of experience, she ensures that the school fosters not only academic growth but also emotional and social development, using innovative teaching techniques and a team-based approach that involves families and the community.

In addition to her work in education, Subaitis is an accomplished coach for Arizona Disabled Sports, where she trains athletes in track and cycling. She is a dedicated educator, coach, and passionate advocate for creating supportive environments where individuals can thrive. Subaitis currently lives in Mesa, Arizona, with her husband and their beloved dog. A proud mother of two daughters, she enjoys spending her free time trail running and playing the ukulele, activities that allow her to stay active and express her creative side.
