Overview

Conference offers providers from the Southwest Region the opportunity to learn the latest evidence-based practices in Pediatric Surgery. Specific presentation topics that will be addressed include spine and scoliosis, pediatrics orthopedics, fetal and general surgery, pediatric plastic surgery, and pediatric ENT.

Objectives

At the conclusion of this activity, learners will be able to:
  1. Recognize and understand complex and common pediatric plastic surgery cases/conditions; from pediatric skin lesions to craniosynostosis
  2. Appraise and examine urgent and nonurgent surgical interventions for the pediatric population within general surgery
  3. Recognize and review pediatric orthopedic conditions and identification of urgent vs routine interventions and available treatment options.
  4. Incorporate cutting edge technology such as navigation, robotics, and advanced implants improve precision, safety, and outcomes in pediatric spine and scoliosis surgery.
  5. Incorporate into practice the early diagnosis of common Ear, nose, and throat conditions within the pediatric population.
