Health Sciences professionals can earn 12.5 contact hours through Crucial Conversations, a comprehensive communication skills training program facilitated by Human Resources. The April session runs April 27-30 from 9 a.m. to noon daily through Zoom.
This interactive course teaches practical tools to navigate high-stakes conversations, whether addressing sensitive discussions or managing conflict. Learn strategies to speak up with confidence, keep dialogue productive and build trust when tensions rise, turning difficult conversations into positive outcomes.
Contact hours are available through the American Association of Critical Care Nurses, the California Board of Registered Nursing and the International Accreditors for Continuing Education and Training (1.3 CEUs). The university subsidizes 83% of the program's cost, reducing the training expense to $331 per person.
