Larissa Myaskovsky, PhD
Myaskovsky is a tenured professor in the Department of Medicine at the University of New Mexico Health Sciences Center and director of the Center for Healthcare Equity in Kidney Disease. She also leads the professional development core for the NIH-funded Mountain West Clinical and Translational Infrastructure Network. With over 20 years of experience, her research focuses on social determinants of health and health care disparities, particularly in kidney disease. Trained in social psychology and clinical epidemiology, she uses interdisciplinary, multimethod approaches and is a dedicated mentor and educator in research design, disparities and grant writing.
