Fain, MD, professor and chief, Division of General Internal Medicine, Geriatrics & Palliative Medicine, director, Arizona Geriatrics Workforce Enhancement Program, director, Arizona Center on Aging, and the U of A’s Anne and Alden Hart Endowed Chair in Medicine; and the R. Ken Coit College of Pharmacy’s Jeannie Lee, PharmD, BCPS, BCGP, FASHP, AGSF; and U of A College of Nursing’s Cheryl Lacasse, PhD, RN, AOCNS.

Learning Objectives

  1. Identify neurocognitive changes that may affect behavior.
  2. Identify common behavioral changes and their triggers/causes.
  3. Recognize opportunities for non-medical behavioral interventions.
  4. Recommend/employ effective non-pharmacological strategies for effective management.
