Khubaib Mapara, MD, is a a clinical assistant professor at College of Medicine - Tucson and vascular surgeon at Banner University Medical Center Tucson. He is board certified in vascular surgery and is an active member of the Society for Vascular Surgery. Mapara takes care of a broad spectrum of arterial and venous pathologies and dialysis access. He can treat patients medically and surgically, both in a traditional open manner and minimally invasive endovascular fashion. His clinical interests include extra-cranial carotid disease, aortic dissections, complex aortic pathologies, and challenging limb salvage in patients with chronic limb threatening ischemia. Mapara has a keen interest in clinical outcomes research. This includes evaluation of outcomes in endovascular and open reconstructions in patients with chronic limb threatening ischemia and type b aortic dissections.
