About the speaker: Dr. Macaraeg is a clinical assistant professor at the U of A Department of Pediatrics as well as the Charles W. and Sophie T. McKenzie Endowed Chair in Pediatric Rheumatology. She holds a bachelor’s degree in molecular and cellular biology from the U of A, a master’s degree in clinical and translational research from the University of Cincinnati and a medical degree from the College of Medicine – Tucson, where she also did her residency training. Her pediatric rheumatology fellowship was done at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital in Ohio.
