Presenter Details

Elisa H. Ignatius, MD 

Ignatius is an Assistant Professor of Medicine in the Divisions of Infectious Diseases and Clinical Pharmacology, program director for the Johns Hopkins Center for Nontuberculous Mycobacteria (NTM) and Bronchiectasis, and Medical Director of the Johns Hopkins Drug Development Unit. Ignatius received an undergraduate degree from Columbia University, Doctor of Medicine from Emory University, and Masters of Science from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. She completed internal medicine training at Emory University and post-doctoral fellowships in infectious diseases and clinical pharmacology at Johns Hopkins. She provides care for patients with NTM, bronchiectasis and other infectious diseases. Her research focuses on treatment optimization for mycobacterial infections, including novel and standard drugs.
