Elisa H. Ignatius, MD
Dr. Ignatius is an assistant professor of medicine in the Division of Infectious Diseases and Clinical Pharmacology, program director for the Johns Hopkins Center for Nontuberculous Mycobacteria and Bronchiectasi, and medical director of the Johns Hopkins drug development unit. Ignatius received an undergraduate degree from Columbia University, her Doctor of Medicine from Emory University and Master of Science from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. She completed internal medicine training at Emory University and postdoctoral fellowships in infectious diseases and clinical pharmacology at Johns Hopkins. She provides care for patients with nontuberculous mycobacteria, bronchiectasis and other infectious diseases. Her research focuses on treatment optimization for mycobacterial infections, including novel and standard drugs.
