Event Description
The Phoenix Neuroscience Community Data Blitz, presented by the Department of Translational Neurosciences and the Tucson Neuroscience Community, is an engaging session of a "blitz" of information on the cutting-edge research in progress in neuroscience. Speakers include Dr. Shenfeng Qiu (professor), Dr. Camila de Avila (assistant research professor), Dr. Thomas Christopher Brown (postdoctoral research associate), Julian Ramos (research technician), Dr. Isabelle Schrauwen (associate professor) and Zachary Yakiku (graduate student in neuroscience from Tucson).
A buffet dinner will follow the short presentations. A tour of the Department of Translational Neurosciences' lab will begin at 1:45 p.m. for anyone interested in catching a glimpse of Dr. James A. Bibb's modern neuroscience research laboratory, including the new neurocircuits and behavior core.
