Jonas Marschall, MD, MSc
Dr. Marschall is Clinical Professor and Chief of Infectious Diseases at the University of Arizona College of Medicine – Phoenix and Banner – University Medical Center Phoenix. He leads clinical research and infection prevention efforts, with interests in hospital epidemiology, antimicrobial resistance, and healthcare-associated infections. Trained in Switzerland and the U.S., Dr. Marschall has held leadership roles in academic medicine and healthcare systems in both countries, advancing quality care and mentoring future ID specialists.
