The Flinn Foundation is seeking applicants for the 11th cohort of its Translational Seed Grants Program. Applications are being accepted through Friday, Oct. 31.
The Translational Seed Grants Program seeks teams of Arizona scientists and clinicians pursuing innovative solutions to well-defined clinical needs.
Participants will receive a package that includes:
- A $100,000 grant over 18 months;
- Quarterly cohort workshops to enhance skills in commercialization;
- The opportunity to compete for an additional $100,000 in follow-up funding;
- Networking and connection opportunities with research and industry experts; and
- Membership during the grant period on Arizona’s Bioscience Roadmap Steering Committee, a statewide consortium of leaders driving our state’s bioscience ecosystem.
Teams with innovations addressing well-defined and compelling clinical needs in the following sectors are encouraged to apply:
- Devices
- Diagnostics
- Health-focused technology platforms or delivery processes
- Therapeutics
Other clinically compelling innovations, particularly those within precision medicine, are welcome to reach out and confirm eligibility.
