Cannabis education for health care professionals (a free, on-demand continuing education lecture series)

This cannabis education lectures series is intended for physicians, physician assistants, pharmacists, nurses, nurse practitioners and first responders involved or interested in toxicology and emergency care.
This activity is jointly accredited for:
- AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ - CME - 5.5 credit hours – full course – 6 modules
- Nursing Continuing Professional Development Credits - NCPD - 5.5 credit hours – full course – 6 modules
- Continuing Pharmacy Credit – CPE - 5.5 credit hours – full course – 6 modules

The lecture series will provide attendees with an overview of current research and practices that pertain to cannabis. At the conclusion of this conference, participants should be able to:
- Recognize the safety and efficacy of medical marijuana in various disease states.
- Describe the difference between synthetic cannabinoids and cannabis.
- Understand the physiological role of the endogenous cannabinoid system.
- Discuss potential public safety concerns including the risks related to driving impairment and pediatric exposures.
