Guidance for university release time - commencement 2024

To ensure a seamless transition from regular operations to activities celebrating the Class of 2024, employees who normally work at main campus should consider working from home on Friday, May 10, or plan to leave by 12 p.m., unless you must be present to support university or commencement operations.

The university is granting four hours of university release time (paid leave) to be used on Friday, May 10, after 12 p.m. for all staff, faculty, graduate assistants/associates and student workers, whether working on campus, remotely or outside of Arizona. If you must remain on campus or work a full day to support university operations, you will still receive the four hours of university release time. The time codes will be available to use from April 29-May 26.
