STEP-UP Summer Research Program applications due Jan. 21

The Student Transformative Experiences to Progress Undergraduate and Graduate Professionals, or STEP-UP, in cancer prevention program is now accepting applications for our 2024 Summer Research Program.

During this 10-week program, undergraduate and masters-level students will engage in an immersive mentored research experience with one of our over 50 committed faculty mentors and our program leaders in Cancer Prevention and Control research. In addition, students will be engaged in complementary learning activities such as community outreach, personal cancer preventative behaviors and professional growth. This is a full-time, paid opportunity for students to build a foundation for a future career in Cancer Prevention and Control research practice.

Eligibility:

  • Current undergraduate (must have completed sophomore year or above) or master's-level student.
  • Cumulative GPA of 2.75 or above.
  • U.S citizen or permanent resident.
