The University of Arizona Coit Museum of Pharmacy and Health Sciences is seeking enthusiastic U of A College of Pharmacy graduates to serve as volunteer greeters and/or guides at the museum. If you're passionate about the history of pharmacy and enjoy interacting with the public, this is a great way to stay connected to your alma mater while supporting health sciences education.

Volunteers are asked to work two+ shifts/tours per month for at least a one year commitment. Training is provided to ensure all volunteers are confident and well informed about the museum and its mission.

Volunteer roles needed:
  • Greeters
    • Welcome visitors, provide a short museum orientation and answer questions.
    • Availability for 9 a.m. - 12 p.m. or 12 - 3 p.m. shifts on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays
  • Guides
    • Lead engaging tours of the museum (interpretive gallery and exhibits in Skaggs and Drachman Hall), sharing insights about the exhibits, history and collections.
    • Tours are offered Mondays-Fridays 9 a.m. -5 p.m., and occasional Saturdays.
