Randy Horwitz, MD, PhD, medical director of the UArizona Andrew Weil Center for Integrative Medicine, will deliver the lecture that is hosted by the University of Arizona Arthritis Center at the UArizona College of Medicine – Tucson. The free online event is open to the public and will include time for questions and answers.

Dr. Horwitz will share integrative medicine approaches to treating chronic inflammation and educate participants on the concept of healing-oriented medicine that considers the whole person, including all aspects of lifestyle.

With a key focus on promoting health and preventing illness, integrative medicine approaches emphasize the therapeutic relationship between practitioner and patient.
